How to join:

1. Sign up for a challenge (that’s your ticket in)

Already in one? You're in for free.

2. Choose your country & Register for The Conqueror World Cup.

Update your app to the latest version. Inside the app, tap on The Conqueror World Cup banner, select the country you want to represent, and tap ‘Register.’

3. Start scoring!

The Conqueror World Cup officially kicks off on June 9, PT (UTC−7). Everything you do, from walking to virtual treasure hunts, can earn points for your team.

How to earn points:

Starting June 9, PT (UTC−7), the app will light up with special events and fun activities. You earn points for your country in two ways:

1. You Progress in your Virtual Challenge

Reach a challenge milestone → +20 pts
Post a new activity → +30 pts
Unlock a local spot → +20 pts

2. The Conqueror World Cup Events

Quizzes → up to 50 pts
Flash Events → 50–200 pts
Special Events (e.g. treasure hunts) → 150–400 pts

Pro Tip: Flash events drop without warning—turn ON app notifications in phone settings so you don’t miss out.

Important Rules:

Countries need at least 20 players to qualify.
Once you've selected your country, you are locked in unless the participant numbers do not equal at least 20, then you will be asked to re-select.
If your country doesn’t qualify before kickoff, you’ll be asked to pick a new one.
Points are averaged per country, so every team has a shot—big or small.
If you’re in multiple challenges, distance & milestone points won’t be double-counted.
Miss an event deadline? No points for that one—stay alert!
Keep all submitted photos appropriate & original.
Finished your challenge mid-World Cup? Just start a new one to keep scoring. The competition ends June 24th, so you have plenty of time to participate.

FAQS:

Is this a Conqueror Challenge?

Nope, it is a BONUS event for our whole Conqueror Community to participate in. However, you DO need to be on an active challenge to join The Conqueror World Cup.

How are points calculated?

You’ll earn points by completing distance, milestones, trivia, flash events, and more (see the How to Earn Points section above). When you join The Conqueror World Cup, you’ll choose a country team. Once you enter The Conqueror World Cup, your points will immediately count towards your country’s score.

How is it fair for smaller countries?

To keep things fair, each country’s score is averaged based on the number of participants, so it’s not about how many people sign up, but how active each individual is. That means even smaller countries have a real shot at winning. Some countries (like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia) are strongly represented in our community, but the leaderboard is designed so that everyone, no matter where they're from, competes on equal footing.

I’m in multiple challenges. How does scoring work?

Points assigned for challenge-related activities, like distance and milestones, will not be double-counted. Points for hitting milestones will be awarded from each challenge (5 points per challenge, totaling 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100%).

Is this just competition—or also educational?

Both! You’ll explore global trivia, culture, geography, food, and more while having fun.

Can I switch countries?

You will not be able to switch country after this has been selected except in the case where your country doesn't reach 20 participants before the event starts. In this case, you will be asked to choose a different team from the qualifying countries. We'll let you know if your team is still under the limit - so bring some friends to helps hit the minimum!

Why can't I join my country?

If you’re joining late and your country didn’t hit the 20-player minimum before the event started, it didn’t qualify. You can still join — just pick a different country that made the cut.

What happens if I miss an event?

Missed events can’t be made up—keep notifications ON so you don’t miss out.

Can I join The Conqueror World Cup after the kick-off on June 9?

Yes! You can join up until the end of the competition. However, if you miss an event deadline, you can’t go back and take part.

Are there prizes? Do I have to pay?

No physical prizes, just glory. Your country gets a podium spot and bragging rights. The Conqueror World Cup is free for anyone with an active challenge.
